Ray’s Coffee Shop on the corner of Schoeman Street and Nuwe Street is warm and inviting. Relax under the trees sampling some local fare: pies, hamburgers and some toasted sandwiches to name a few. Village Trading Post | Coffee on the run...
Village Trading Post, Coffee on the run…, newly owned by Niekie and Soan, can be found at the Caltex Garage on the Main Road. Either as you enter town or as you are leaving – depends on which direction you are driving.
Delicious pies, jaffels, sandwiches, cupcakes, milktarts and, of course, wonderful coffee can be purchased here.
Wander around the nursery and be on the look out for organic produce grown in Niekie and Soan’s garden. There is much variety to be found here.

Karoo Rouge is a shop offering veldskoens, slippers, art, clothing and beauty products. In addition to these offerings Karoo Rouge also does take away coffee, cake and biltong.

The Grumpy Goat
The Grumpy Goat Pub and Grub owners, Aly and Tim are not grumpy at all. As you walk into the bar you are welcomed by a bubbly Aly, a person who brightens any room she is in. If you are looking for vibe or gees then The Grumpy Goat is the place to visit.

Tues to Friday we open at 3pm till closing time…which depends on how many people are there.
Sat and Sunday we are open from 12.
We try to close early on Sundays but that also depends on who is there.
Braai packs are available to buy and wood if you are too late for our kitchen.

Bushmans African Dining
A bush experience; from finding all sort of game whether big or small, Bushman’s African Dining is for the whole family. Bunnies, pigs and sheep keep the children fascinated whilst the entire family can enjoy freshly prepared food in the dining area.
There is a large amount of outdoor seating space where one can easily social distance.
